About Tivan
I have been teaching since 2017. I have taught over 200 students in fields ranging from economics, mathematics to English.
I tutored first year classes for the Department of Economics at Stellenbosch University in 2018 & 2019. I have also tutored second and third year students.

I obtained my BCom (hons) Economics degree cum laude from Stellenbosch University last year and will be doing my Masters in Economics next year.
I believe that the role of a teacher is to break complex ideas down into their simplest form and then explain the simple concepts to allow students to understand the complex ideas.
My classes are very flexible to adapt to the needs of the students. I prefer for students to identify the areas they are struggling with and then expand as far as necessary for the student to develop a holistic understanding of the subject.
