I am in my first year at the University of Warwick studying Economics, which heavily involves Maths.
I am looking to give Maths lessons to any student between the ages of 8 and 16 from July to September, to help them either with 11+ exams, GCSE exams, or to have a headstart going into the new year.
I am calm in my teaching and feel that I can relate to the my students as I have been in their positions not so long ago, which allows me to understand their problems better and build a stronger rapport with them.
I have been giving lessons for roughly 3 years, primarily for the 11+ age group but am also able to teach at GCSE level. I feel as if I am capable of working well with various different personalities and children of different age groups. Having recently completed my first year of studying Economics at the University of Warwick, my maths skills are in regularly being tested and so my abilities are also progressing, which is something that can be passed on to my students.
