I set personally-tailored, realistic goals and use coaching methods. I endorse innovative, creative and modern teaching styles that practice kindness, patience and understanding. I have worked with children and young people who are disadvantaged and/or with additional needs and other social challenges.
I am an English PhD student in Sociology and Social Policy who has BA Liberal Arts and MA Sociology degrees. I'm a people-person who loves to build confidence, see those I work with flourish and bring out the best in people.
My work experience has been all about people and I've been employed in a number of different supportive roles including advising, volunteer management, supervisory positions and project management. I have a coaching qualification and I love working with children and young people. I consider myself to be reliable, trustworthy and compassionate. I'm knowledgeable around support for women and families and safeguarding. I respect people's privacy and think everything can be worked out - including our working arrangements - through a good chat.
My 'specialties' include essay and dissertation writing, research methods and skills, all social sciences including sociology, policy, anthropology, philosophy and criminology, interdisciplinary study, reading and writing, managing projects and presentations and meeting personal objectives.
