My teaching approach varies according to the needs of the student; yet, all lessons are student-centred and engaging! I use authentic material such as songs, movies and different text genres in the language. Furthermore, I focus on the ability to cope independently with unfamiliar words and to derive meaning from the context as well as tackling tests and examination questions in preparation for the end examinations up to Advanced Highers.
Specialised in general pedagogy and methodology, I have 7 years of teaching experience teaching French, Spanish, ESOL, and History in different educational systems and countries including Scotland. Therefore, I am a registered teacher with the GTCS Scotland and experienced in teaching the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence to all levels including Highers and Advanced Highers.
