My teaching methodology is to be friendly, patient, be able to differentiate different learning needs. To put learners at ease and begin each lesson with a starter and carefully structured lesson plan, with time to validate learning has taken place at the end of the lesson and successful outcomes have been achieved. To use a variety of learning aids tailored to the individual learner and to provide resources that are relevant and up to date to the subject
I work full time in a secondary school, covering lessons for absent teachers. I am also a vertical tutor and mentor. I have over 15 years experience leading lessons and am familiar with the national curriculum. I also have a Ba in Arts which covers art, art history, English and sociology
My first lesson with you (30 mins) will be free, so that we can get to know each other and you can feel at ease with me. It will also help me build relevant resources and plan effective lessons that are tailored to you.
In the event of a cancelled session, I will give you 24 hours notice. In the event my student needs to cancel, I ask that you also give me 24 hours notice please.
Thank you and look forward to meeting you :)
