About Emilene
- What kind of experience do you have?
I started teaching in the borough of Croydon where I worked as a PPA Cover Teacher in six classes covering Year 3 and 4. This job gave me numerous experiences teaching children of various learning abilities. To further my experiences of teaching I became a Classroom Teacher to a Year 3 class. In this class there were many opportunities to plan and deliver lessons to children who had English as an additional language (EAL), a hearing impairment and special educational needs (SEN). In between these jobs I have taught in various schools as a supply teacher in the boroughs of Southwark, Lewisham, Wandsworth and Greenwich. I started work as a private tutor in 2009 and have tutored children of varying learning abilities and have taught English as a foreign language.
