Methodology
I guide students through each part of the learning process - building their knowledge and key skills for the subject, then securing their understanding of it.
I feel like my age allows me to connect with students better, as I have gone through what they are doing relatively recently.

Perfect! Excellent teacher . Really patient, calm and thorough . Takes it at your pace and it’s no trouble to keep going over the same equation until you understand and are ready to move on .highly recommend
Lesson with Amy went really well. After explaining more challenging concepts student progressed well through the exercises. I strongly feel that with more practise she will become comfortable with solving pure maths exercises.

I've spent a lot of time working with Jan on a Masters Engineering project at university. He has a diverse understanding of various engineering disciplines which is underpinned by his strong mathematical knowledge. Jan is a very positive person and undoubtedly a very supportive tutor.
Jan is an amazing teacher, he helped me to understand difficult maths and physics concepts when we studied together in our engineering course. What is special about Jan is he can convey his deep fundamental understanding of problems, instead of just giving you the correct answer like other tutors! The perfect teacher for anyone that wants to do well in examinations but also carry with them the toolset to solve complex problems, especially for those studying or planning to study in STEM.
