My teaching methodology would be to not only help students tackle the problems they face, but try and always aim for a broader comprehension of the specific subject we are looking at, and its connection with other subjects.
By doing so, I aim to give valuable landmarks for mental navigation, and help students build up confidence in using Maths.
Previously student in Physics engineering (specialized in Energy and Materials), I kept from my studies the will of learning, and the ability to not rebuked by complicated problem solving. After my studies, I tutored A-level Physics and Maths, alongside with substitute teaching for up to second year of higher education classes. I did this for 3 years before moving to Belfast, and I kept from this experience the happiness of sharing knowledge and helping students to enjoy challenging themselves. My multicultural background (I was born in continental France, but grew up in Réunion island) makes me able to get along with any kind of personality, and by making students feel at ease I ease their learning process as well. I am now looking to become a professional certified Maths teacher in France in the years to come, and would like in the meantime to continue to make a living by enjoying life, doing what I love: pass on the thirst for understanding to the future generations.
