I lay out each class by dividing the topics into their constituent subtopics, and each subtopic into smaller, and more specific sub-subtopics. I feel that this systematic approach really allows students to grasp the full scope of the topic, as well as allowing them to make notes that are easy to revise from as they can easily highlight one or more single sub-subtopics which need improvement
