I approach each student differently. I begin with a topic they understand and use different teaching techniques to see what is most preferred by my students, then go on to sorting all the topics and making plans and lessons based on that exact style they had chosen. (i.e. flashcards, worked examples, counters)
I am an engineer, when it comes to skills with maths and logical sciences like physics and chemistry, i feel I excel the most. In the past I have been known to help GCSE students in the past, back when I was a GCSE student myself I tutored my peers with maths and sciences and some of them even achieved better marks than myself. I am willing to tutor up to the age of 16 years old.
travel is mostly fine, bus fares are low so I will cover my own travel costs, however if the bus journey is 45 minutes or more I will charge an extra £2 per session (not per hour)
