I give lessons in maths and chemistry to students in basic school through to high school including A-level either in person if I can or online. My teaching strategies focus on getting students to understand the fundamentals of the subject so that it's easier to understand as the lesson progresses. In view of this, the beginning of new topics are mostly slow to enable a strong foundation in the subject.
Most importantly, I tend to tailor my lessons in a way that fits a particular student or group of students since all students pick up understand and process information in different ways and I see it as my responsibility as a tutor to pay attention to such details.
I believe in creating a conducive environment for learning and try my possible best to attain this. I am patient and well organised, making sure I am fully prepared for any lesson and ready to help students in any way I can.
I am a chemical engineering student at the University of Edinburgh. I have taught students individually and in groups. I have tutored about ten students who saw an improvement in their grades and understanding in the subject areas that was taught.
I tutored an elementary school student before her examination in mathematics and science and she excelled in both subject.
I can teach anything from basic to high school level.
