I believe in teaching a method and making the student walk through the steps himself rather than spoon feeding him. I’ve seen some students nowadays have a different approach where they see the answer first and then move towards it which is a very wrong way to solve anything. What I focus is on how a student approaches towards a question as one cannot solve a question if they don't know what the question means and how to approach it.
I am a mechanical engineer currently doing my masters at University of Glasgow. I have taught students before and might have a different approach to teach as I believe in showing the method to do it than spoon feeding a student. I have done two classes together in one academic year when I was young using my excellence in mathematics as my base.
