I believe in helping students build a solid conceptual foundation. After that, I run them through some questions to help build confidence. From past experiences, many students who have strong conceptual understanding lack confidence, which prevents them from answering correctly. They think, "no way, I'm bad at this, so surely I'm not correct" and that eventually leads them into memorizing formula and methods. I believe in bringing them out of that stream of thinking.
Hi, my name is Aman Didwania and I am a studying Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London. I've always admired my teachers, and eventually tried to emulate them. What eventually started out as a hobby during lunch break where I would help students with Math quickly grew into scheduled regular lessons after school. Since it has been such a fun and enriching experience, I hope to continue it!
