I would like to help out young ks1 and ks2 students to improve their maths. I usually explain the topic at the beginning then do some practise questions together and then let the student do it by themselves. If they get it wrong I let them try and figure it out before I step in and help. To make sure they stay remembering, I give them a few questions homework and start off with a test at the beginning of the next lesson. With my easy methods and tricks, I make sure that my student enjoys maths and feels more confident with working out questions.
I am an engineering student who enjoys and is confident with Maths, I have done my GCSEs and got a B. I am also good with young children as I mentor kids in year 10 with maths GCSE and also have siblings that I help out at home. My students feel like they improve every session as they can understand my explaining clearly and easily.
