I had the pleasure of working with Karl in the English department at Bellerbys College, Cambridge from January 2018 to August 2019. He was a reliable colleague who worked well with everyone and approached problems with humour, often assisting other staff. He had a very conscientious approach, and demonstrated great concern for the progress and welfare of his students.
We meet with Karl thru an online platform a couple of years ago, during this time we had hundreds of in-person lessons and lately online lessons. Karl is a great teacher and great human being. He has a great knowledge on the English language, EFL prep, teaching tools and methods. He knows what the student needs and because he has worked with many international students he knows what's usually a pain point for every individual depending on nationality. Having done so many online lessons with him, I can say he has the ability to make online lessons as if they were in-person. He is close and will adapt the lesson to your needs.
I really recommend Karl as a teacher and tutor!
I was initially impressed with Karl's calm manner, proactive approach, open minded vision. Personal and proffesional, either way, I will be always respected him. As my English teacher, he has been always approachable to support me in Business English especially concerning speaking. He helped me to gain the confidence that I need to speak in public. He will always be the first choice as an English teacher in Business English due to his experience and expertise in teaching and the business sector.
Karl is a great coach and leader rather than a teacher. His most powerful skill is that he use known teaching techniques to provide required encouregement for candidates who will ultimately reach the goals those defined at the beginning of classes in common senses.
