Throughout my professional life I have mainly worked with and taught Japanese students of all ages and backgrounds. This helped me learn how to adapt my teaching style to the goals and learning objective for each group or individual that I worked with.
I enjoyed teaching kindergarten children, high-school students, university students and company managers who needed English for their work outside Japan.
I am a native Romanian and I learned 4 foreign languages myself. I majored in English and Japanese during my college years. I understand the difficulties that an English learner may face and I always take into consideration the linguistic and cultural background of my students since these factors may greatly influence the learning process.
I hope I can be of help.
I have been teaching mostly Japanese people for a total of 7 years.
I would say that I taught approximately 300 people if I were to sum up my large classes at a Japanese University, the kindergarten classes and the high-school students, to which I have to add my company classes.
After taking one of the language courses that I taught some of my students got higher scores in their TOEIC and TEOFL tests, others improved their business communication and some other students got into international Universities. It all depended on each and everyone`s goal but generally all my students achieved their targeted level of English.
