Methodology

My teaching method is to first understand each student, their interests and what makes them happy. Using this, I then adapt my style based on each individual students needs.
Some students prefer listening, others would prefer reading, some may prefer using visualisation.
Teaching will always be based on what works for the student, finding out their interests and then adapting learning so that they are able to understand it.
This may not always be possible, but wherever it is, it will be tailored to the student for their own interests, if not possible, then it will be delivered in a way that is adaptable to their learning style and on a level that they understand.
I will follow the national curriculum always use the current curriculum for the exam board that is needed for the student, so that they have the best chance of success.
I will deliver lessons in a fun, yet educational way, ensuring that delivery is a mix of teaching and understanding the level that they’re at. I will also use past exam papers to ensure that they are progressing to the standard that is needed.
