My tutoring approach is adaptive, as I tailor my teaching style to what each student would benefit best from. However, across every interaction with students, I am encouraging, supportive and eager to share my passion for the subject. I am enthusiastic, driven, optimistic and incredibly committed. Often, students believe that they dislike or 'can't do' a certain subject, sometimes as a consequence of a negative teacher experience or a lack of self esteem. I can change this mindset. I throw myself fully into whatever I do, and I also genuinely enjoy a good challenge- I believe that the best rewards come from hard work. I also have ADHD so can give personally informed lessons to students with learning difficulties.
Hi! I'm a current English Literature student with an adaptive, friendly, enthusiastic and patient approach. I have 3+ years of teaching experience with students from an early age to young adults. I believe that learning can be genuinely enjoyable for anyone.
Former St Paul's Girls' School student

Experience:
I've previously worked as a part time teacher in a community youth centre for 3 years, where I taught and looked after children aged 3-12 years old. In the teaching portion of the job, learning to communicate effectively with the children (some of whom had limited speech abilities or were very shy) improved my communication skills greatly, an ability which I have carried with me through other jobs. Working with children who could often be stubborn at times also developed my ability to manage challenging interactions and situations.
I've volunteered as a drama teacher to local children.
I currently tutor Psychology to secondary school students.
Education:
11 GCSEs (9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 8, 8, 7) with 9s in English Literature and English Language
A Levels in English Literature, Psychology, Art and Design (A*A*A predicted)
