English Literature student offering lessons in Washington England (A Level student at Sunderland)

Methodology

My teaching method is usually a lot of hands-on ideas, I do quite a few resources and will send these to the students if they need me to. I teach A level students, as I am not able to teach degree level yet.

Experience

I am an English Literature student with a background in all English lessons. I have been doing revision sessions with AS classes for 6 weeks now, and they have recently achieved much higher grades in their recent mock exams. I am ideal for those who want a fun, easy going tutor.

Work experience

A*'s in both English Literature and Drama, as well as several A's in English Language and B's in History, and C's in Maths, religious studies and art.

I have wrote for several short story competitions and won in the years 2016, 2017 and am waiting for the results in 2018.

Rachel is a great teacher as her lessons are always interesting and informative. She has a clear understanding of literature and is a great help with her literature revision lessons. I feel that I have become a better student through Rachel's help.

Rachel has been my best friend for over seven years and throughout our friendship she has constantly aided me in the English subjects we take together. She is able to adjust her explanations of topics to suit the student as she is able to assist students of many different academic levels. She has broad knowledge of the subject of literature and she is so well-read that the librarians asked HER for reccommendations in the past!! She is overall an extremely sweet, kind, caring and optimistic person who will work hard to help anyone as best she can!! I couldn't reccommend her more x

Obviously, its because her enthusiasm and love for teaching and delivering a subject!I'd always choose Rachel, she will make you love and view the world and topic as so much more than it is.

Rachel is a confident and thorough tutor. She currently helps with students at her college and is more than willing to help with the topics that she knows about. She is patient and is more than capable of assisting in work. She is easy to get ahold of and takes the time out of her day to try and address any issues that the student is struggling with. I fully recommend her, she will do what she can to help everyone succeed.
