Methodology

My teaching methodology will revolve around the fundamental component to English: the close analysis of the texts at hand. I will encourage students to rigorously interegate the literature they are studying, and in doing so will ensure they can formulate and substantiate their own ideas and interpretations, as this is crucial to success.

Equally important is the ability to write well. By setting written work and providing extensive feedback, I will ensure students drastically improve their writing - with a particular focus on SPAG.
