My teaching method is open and friendly, allowing for a fun environment. I teach up to GCSE level in both English Literature and Language. I approach each topic slowly and carefully allowing all students to get to grips with the topic before moving on to the next.
I bring with me an understanding of the differing needs my students may have and an understanding of the difficulties my students may face within their own lives. I offer students a friendly and welcoming experience with the student having dual control over what is being taught with opportunities to discuss any external elements that maybe affecting their studies.
I am an experienced alternative home education provider teaching English up to and including GCSE and Functional Skills to both Key Stage 3 and 4 learners as well as adult learners. I am also able teach, support or mentor children in years 5 & 6.
I have worked in a multitude of environments including Mainstream Schools, PRU's, Alternative Providers, Colleges and Private Training Providers, also teaching students with Emotional, Social and Behavioural Difficulties, students with mild Special Educational Needs and looked after children.
