My aim is to eventually make myself redundant by encouraging in students the ability to think critically about their fundamental approaches to a given topic. This probably isn't the best long-term plan on my part, but it's certainly the most useful assistance I can give and, in my experience, helps to cultivate an attitude to learning which produces excellence.
I enjoy the challenge of finding-out the most effective learning methods for each student, and it is this individual approach which is the most rewarding.
Other than that, I'm friendly, patient, and try my best to make lessons enjoyable whilst ensuring we cover all the necessary ground.
A recent graduate with over seven years of tutoring experience, I am currently dividing my time between working in theatre, writing, and teaching.
I specialise in English, Philosophy, and other humanities subjects, but having completed the rigorous International Baccalaureate diploma I have a solid grounding in a wide range of subjects.
I have a 100% satisfaction rating on two of the largest tutoring websites, and work hard to ensure that I tailor lessons to the specific needs of each student. Alongside private tutoring, I am currently working at two schools teaching Maths and English to students between the ages of 13 and 16.
