My lessons are constructed based on where the child is. I will need to gain understanding on what the child may struggle with or what they are unsure of and from there I will plan my lessons. Once I have gained an idea, I will give them homework to do every week and ensure they are practicing regularly.
I am an undergraduate in English Language and Literature and I have been tutoring for three years. I teach English for those in primary school, secondary school, up till A-Levels. I aspire to become a teacher, which brings me the passion to help children strive for the best and do the best of their abilities. I also tutor children in other subjects such as maths and science up until key stage 2.
My rates stay the same, however I am willing to negotiate depending on the distance and level of where the child is at. In terms of cancelling, letting me know a day in advance or in the morning would be great and I would do the same.
To help others is something I enjoy doing as a passion. I am an enthusiastic, creative and self-motivated university student, with good interpersonal skills such as listening and communication. I strive for the best and trust that the best way to achieve success is by working hard, smart and believing in yourself. I have great social skills, which allows me to be confident and also allows others to feel comfortable around me.

2016-Current- Cherry Hill Tuition:
Position: Personal Tutor
Currently, I am working for a high encouraging tuition centre that allow children of all ages to achieve the best of their abilities. Through this I have learnt to work with children learning key subjects, especially English Language and Literature. My career goal is to become a teacher and through this experience I have gained different methods of teaching and understanding that each child has their own, individual way of learning. Therefore, this has taught me to use different techniques in ensuring that each child, by the end of the lesson, has understood the aim. From this experience I have also learnt how to mark efficiently, organise myself and manage my time well. Working with children itself is a wonderful career.
12/15-11/16- Preston Road Multicultural Nursery:
Position: Teaching assistant
Being able to work in a nursery provided a whole new different experience. Being in a crazy and busy atmosphere allowed me to multitask around children. The routine of the nursery was the same every day, which allowed me to keep up with the tasks and I was able to get comfortable around the children very easily.
11/14-11/15-Premium Departments in Fenwick, part time:
Brent Cross shopping Centre, Hendon
Position: Sales Advisor
Working for Fenwick, as a sales advisor, allowed me to gain a vast range of skills, knowledge and experience in sales, customer service and managing staff. My duties included managing daily sales
targets, providing excellent customer service, overlooking other members of staff and providing support.
I also do private tutoring where I am a personal tutor. I tutor children up to A-levels in English and help adults that struggle with English as a language. This includes helping them with their grammar, punctuation, spelling and pronunciation. I am also a carer where I help taking care of an elderly women with her daily chores. These give me extra confidence in being able to meet new people of all ages and socialising well.
