Methodology

My teaching method involves identifying the criteria of examination, making sure we are ticking off all the relevant concepts, and then teaching the concepts in a fun way that involves using stories, funny examples, games and interesting memorisation techniques and styles.

Experience

Hey, I'm Hershie! I'm really passionate about the subjects I'm teaching and think I've come up with some really fun and unique ways to learn and remember the material. I've tutored Biology at IB level, and English at GCSE level with a tutoring centre in Hong Kong. I have also applied and helped others apply for universities in the UK and abroad including America, Canada, the Netherlands and Germany. Feel free to ask me for help regarding UK personal statements, American SATs and ACTs and college applications :)

I am currently studying biology at Durham University where I do competitive debate, English literature and Philosophy outside class, and have graduated from the international school Discovery College in Hong Kong where I achieved score of 38 on the IB diploma.
