I was a Mathematics Curriculum Ambassador in my third year of my degree in which I was an assistant in mathematics classrooms. During my course "Mathematical Education", I planned and taught a number of lessons to P6 pupils at two different primary schools.

I have worked as a swimming teacher at two private swim schools, teaching children of all ages to swim in a friendly environment, ensuring they are enjoying their lessons whilst also learning essential skills. I have to communicate with parents, which I thoroughly enjoy as I am comfortable meeting and communicating with people. I plan lessons, which means I have to be innovative and organised, combining the swim school’s needs whilst making the lessons exciting for the pupils.


July 2014/15/16: Play Worker, Special Needs Adventure Playground (SNAP)

SNAP is a special needs play scheme where my role as a play worker was to take care of the children whilst they participated in various activities, ensuring that their needs were always met. Caring for the children required a high standard of work and initiative which I always strived to achieve.
