I aim to adapt my teaching style to the individual needs of the student by understanding what works best for them. I focus strongly on delivering good quality positive feedback that encourages and shows how students can improve, as well as trying to include a variety of learning methods that aim to make learning a fun experience that can be enjoyed and reflect the joy to be found when a student finds something they are passionate about as I am. Tutoring will include setting goals, both short and long term, linking all work to real-world examples, learning through methods such as interactive games and challenges, guides on how to effectively answer exam questions and support in any other area the student needs.
I am a hard-working and enthusiastic History and War Studies student currently at King's College London. I have previously tutored and acted as a mentor at both my high school and sixth form college for students from year seven through to A levels. I performed at the top of my class in both A level Geography and Religious Studies, as well as receiving the General Studies prize which I completed as an A-Level in my lower sixth year. Away from my studies I write and edit my own blog on geopolitics which I aim to update regularly, as well as playing ruby where I have represented my university first team as well as captaining my county.
No tariffs on distance travelled.
The rate for tuition at a level of year 9 or bellow, non-GCSE/A level, falls to £8/hr.

At my high school and sixth form, I was a senior prefect as well as on the school council as a liaison between the staff and student body. Away from my studies I write and edit my blog on geopolitics which I aim to update regularly, as well as playing ruby where I have represented my university first team as well as captaining my club and county. I have work experience running and organising all social media for my rugby club. I have also completed both the Duke of Edinburgh and Chief Scout gold awards. I am a hard worker, with good time management and organisational skills, with a passion for learning.
I have acted as both a student mentor and tutor for students at my high school and sixth form for students from year seven to A level studies. This has been in my specialist area of studies geography and history, though also in Chemistry up to a GCSE level and ICT as both general skills and also to a GCSE level. This has been both in a group and individual sessions. My roles have ranged from helping students with their time management and homework, exam preparation to more intensive mentoring to guide and support students through topics.
I have also had the chance to travel to my high school's sister school located in Tanzania to act as a teacher, this has been in a basic maths and English level as well as a more advanced level in Geography.
I am a dedicated and hard worker, this is reflected in both my academic and sporting success. I am extremely passionate about my studies and have consistently pursued them beyond the limit of the usual scope of my course and this has only ever opened doors for me such as starting my blog and entering the Corpus Christi essay coemption for which I received glowing feedback from the Head of Geography at Cambridge. I am a confident and keen learner, and this has enabled me in the past to improve the confidence of the students I have worked with. I find joy in learning and hope to instil this in the students I work with who may be disenfranchised by normal schooling methods.
