Methodology
If exam preparation is what you need, then I specialise in exam techniques and how to ensure that you get the best possible scores for each question. Generally, this entails understanding how to effectively structure a response for the different task requirements.
Furthermore, I am a qualified Cambridge ESOL examiner, with in depth knowledge of the Cambridge ESOL exam suite.
I also offer proofreading tutorials, successfully proofreading dissertations for students at Columbia University, the University of Warwick and most recently Cambridge University.
Experience
I am an English teacher with over 10 years of experience including GCSE, A level and University preparation. I also teach general English proficiency for students whose first language is not English.
I currently work at Abbey College Cambridge, currently the best performing GCSE and A Level college in Cambridge.
Most recently I have been teaching IELTS and the GCSE language and literature courses (AQA). I have successfully taught 12 clients of varying ages, each with their own specific goals.
