I am currently on a gap-year and have been professionally tutoring now for over 2 years whilst in sixth form doing A-Levels. Recently completing the new specifications myself means I am already very familiar with how it works, and I can give personal tips on how to adapt to this new specification since it's more challenging now. A main advantages is that I am young, so I can relate to the students easily and can understand them more, and students find it easier to engage and be more open.
My method - Ensure the basics are clearly understood,
- Use methodical thinking, so the approach is adaptable to different situations
- Identify and focus on weaknesses
Lessons will be pre-planned, but will also make time to incorporate time for other topics if requested by the student.
