I do not believe in being overly didactic and encourage each student to become involved in, and establish agency over, their own particular learning journey. Although I believe rote style learning has its place, I am a firm believer in offering as much rich, sometimes even ostensibly parenthetical, detail as possible, in as interesting a manner as is feasible, in an attempt to offer a plethora of opportunities for learners to contextualise and assimilate the necessary information in their own idiosyncratic way.
I have been a professional freelance writer and tutor for over a decade. I have taught dozens of students and, whilst I mostly specialise in preparing students for GCSEs and A-Levels, I have taught a heterogeneous spectrum of learners of various ages, learning styles, and capabilities.

Hobbies, Interests & Community Activities
While it may appear somewhat axiomatic, I am a feverish reader and prolific writer. Interested in history and etymology, I also have a fervent interest in all things internet and I maintain my own blog whilst remaining extremely active on several social media platforms.
I have always had a keen interest in boxing and, though I no longer box myself, I currently volunteer as an assistant coach at a local club. I also volunteer as a charity fundraiser for a well-known organization and regularly offer my time on one-off occasions for various charitable events. For instance I regularly organise and facilitate a drive to provide care packs to the homeless on special occasions, such as Valentine’s Day. In addition I produce copy, content and various marketing literature for a small charitable organisation that campaigns for increased road safety.
