As a writer and teacher, I have worked in prisons, hospitals, colleges, libraries, galleries and universities as well as schools. I like to use creativity in my workshops, as it has improves concentration, memory and learning.

- How much do you charge?
I charge £20 per hour for all lessons.
- Where do you teach?
I teach at students' homes, or in mutually agreed public locations, such as a library. I am based in Brighton but I am willing to travel to surrounding areas. I am also happy to teach online via Skype, Moodle, email or any other virtual learning environment.

- What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught English at all levels. I have experience in KS 1-5, A-Level, university level and adult literacy. I am a published writer, and I have just finished a creative writing MA. I have experience with creative writing tuition, scriptwriting, creative literacy and creative vocabulary for ESOL learners. I have worked as a script editor for the BBC and as a fiction sub-editor on an international literary magazine. I offer proofreading, essay and dissertation support, research support and reading. I also have experience as an electronic notetaker and academic support worker, so I can offer support for students who have disabilities in a work or study setting. My BA was in Classical Studies and Ancient History.

I hold a current enhanced CRB. I also hold public liability insurance.
