"Where I'm from we believe all sorts of things that aren't true - we call it history." - There is no need to struggle with understanding history. It's not boring or irrelevant - quite the opposite. History is a fascinating study of human behaviour and it can be highly entertaining. By loosing one's fear of dates and names we can approach periods and events from a unique and new angle that will help you pass exams, tests or simply understand the past better. A combination of books and primary sources (like photographs, paintings, videos, recordings, maps etc.) will open up a completely new and fun world.
I have five years of teaching experience on university level (teaching undergraduate and graduate students) and eight years experience of working with school groups (all levels) in different museums. The size of groups varied from five students to 35. 98% passed their exams, 70% of them were able to raise their point average.
