About the lesson
I teach professional and developing singers alike how to achieve dexterity, flexibility, and increased vocal range whilst preserving their vocal health and boosting their creativity. I also help songwriters with structure and content.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
Singing and songwriting
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I am a Berklee School of Music (Boston, US) and a SACEM school (Paris, France) graduate.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £50 per hour session or £180 for a package of 4 sessions.
Students who prefer to "pay-as-you-go" get a loyalty card entitling them to a free hour every 10 sessions.
- Where do you teach?
I teach out of my home studio, which is located at Limehouse, between Canary Wharf and Shadwell. Sorry I do not travel to students' homes.
- When are you available?
I am available Monday through Saturday.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach students over 17. All levels are welcome.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare my students for auditions, gigs, recordings and touring.
I also offer career coaching and songwriting lessons.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I offer Skype sessions to help my students practice regularly and to condition their voice before shows. Sessions typically last half an hour. They involve a few minutes of meditation at the start in order to relax and focus, followed by vocal warm-up exercises. They are an excellent way to warm up before gigs or as a regular vocal workout a few times a week for people who have a hard time sticking to a regular practice routine.
Skype sessions are only available to students who come in at least once a month in person. The sound of a voice through speakers can sometimes be misleading so it's important that I already know the student's voice before we start Skype sessions.
Rates are £25/session or £60/3 weekly sessions.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I like to begin my teaching sessions with a bit of breathing and meditation before we start vocal technique exercises. I believe that to properly develop as an artist you have to know your body and manage your nerves as much as you must know your voice.
I look forward to hearing from you!

About Eve
- What kind of experience do you have?
In the US, I worked with artists / producers such as Rodney Jerkins and Michael Jackson. I recorded several albums as the lead singer of Los Angeles band Jariya and worked as a session singer for film and television. I currently coach major label artists, as well as budding singer songwriters and compose music for film and television. I have been teaching for 20 years and enjoy being involved in the development of new artists.

I do not have a CRB, as I don't teach children.
