About Brant
Students need another student to learn. That's the truth. I know you want your child to get good grades, those Excellences when results come out next year. And I know that, because I'm an actual NCEA student, who knows: 1. How NCEA actually works (standards, externals, and everything else) 2. Who gets Excellence, and who does not 3. What the important things to learn are I go to school, just like your child, and I've got the same in-class experience your child has. I know how students get those Excellence grades, and how they don't. I've also sat in the very exams your child will sit in just last year (2024), with the paper in front and pen in hand. I know the stress, the expectations, the mindset a student can have. And I succeeded. I passed my NCEA Level 3 Calculus and Physics exams with Excellence, and a NCEA Scholarship in Physics - All in Year 12. I'm that smart friend your child might not have in class. I'm the person they can message for homework help, if they've got no one else. I can connect to your child no teacher can, and I can tell you with all my confidence, that a student learns best when it's explained by another student.

A student needs another student to learn. Research shows that Peer to Peer mentoring is one of the best ways to boost those grades.
If your child is doing Physics or Calculus in Year 12 or Year 13 (NCEA Level 2 or Level 3), then my lessons are perfect for you.
My lessons are online, held on Zoom, and 1 hour long, where your teen will learn:
1. What is ACTUALLY in the end-of-year exam
2. How to study effectively (as a teen)
3. All the math and physics concepts (Differentiation, Integration, Complex Numbers, Mechanics, Waves, Electromagnetism)
Each lesson will cover a past paper, where I'll act as their buddy throughout. It's like having that smart friend by them in class.
