Methodology
My teaching method involves a holistic approach just like the language itself, so I focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing and speaking. Although, since I believe in customising the sessions, I could always put more focus on one or several points more than the others depending on what my student is looking to achieve in the lessons.
Experience
I am a Law with French Law student at UCL. As a Canadian, I've always been immersed in the French culture and environment and am very passionate about it. I took French as one of my A-levels and made sure to include it in my university degree.
I love to teach and believe that lessons should not be generic for everyone but tailored since we all have different preferences when it comes to learning methods. That's why I find it best to ask the students what they're looking for so our sessions would be as productive, useful and most importantly enjoyable as possible.
Languages as meant to be used and in my lessons I make sure by the end of each session my student feels confident with the grammar/vocab/etc. that was taught and knows where and how to use it.
In my free time, I like to watch videos and listen to podcasts and I know some very good French ones I could recommend to my students!
