My teaching style is free form; I ascertain what each student wants to obtain from the session, discuss the subject matter, but allow the student to explore surrounding topics to enable a fuller, more robust understanding of the topic. Being able to develop ideas from first principles is paramount.
I am a graduate from Leicester Medical School, and have taught throughout my university career. Using my knowledge to empower the learning and development of others is a privilege. I have taught medical students since 2010, and believe that a collaborative (rather than prescriptive) approach to learning is essential. I aim to work with the student to exceed goals.
