I have been teaching Latin and Classical Civilization to students at preparatory and secondary schools since 2012. During this time, I have also tutored students for Common Entrance Levels 1, 2 and 3, as well as scholarship examinations for Eton, Harrow, Tonbridge, Wellington, Winchester College, Westminster, Bradfield and Sherborne.
I have been teaching since 2012. I have tutored students for GCSE Latin and obtained some excellent results for my tutees. Last year two students secured A*s and two students secured As. One of theses students had been predicted an E following his mock examinations.
I began my teaching career in 2011, shortly after completing my CELTA qualification. My first teaching job was to teach English to university students and adults at Milner School of English in Wimbledon. After this, I travelled to Australia, and continued to teach English as a foreign language in language schools in Perth and Sydney, as I travelled around the country. In 2012 I was accepted onto the Teach First Leadership Development Programme, and switched to teaching English to students in a challenging secondary school in Chatham, Medway. In 2013, I moved back to London and began working in the Independent Sector, teaching Latin and Classical Civilization to GCSE and A-level. Since this time, I have also privately tutored students for AS and A2 Latin examinations. Since September 2016 I have worked at Northcote Lodge preparatory school in Wandsworth Common, preparing students for the demands of Common Entrance and Scholarship Exams.
