I effectively adapt my lessons according to the interest, ability and request of the pupil. I believe that to truly become great in a language, however, it is important to revise the four areas being reading, listening, writing and speaking.
A focus on solidifying grammar and building your vocabulary knowledge underlines all of my classes, with an aim for my pupil to become competent and confident in using them in real life scenarios.
Written comprehension - Arabic
Written expression - Arabic
Having studied foreign languages for over 10 years, I have acquired a balanced and extensive understanding of the challenges, techniques, and different learning styles that pupils may face when studying a language.
I have tutored students studying Modern Standard Arabic at university helping them to become confident in speaking, grammatically sound, and expanding their knowledge of vocabulary and colloquial expressions. I have also taught English to Egyptian and Sudanese pupils when I was living in Cairo. I can offer Modern Standard Arabic or Egyptian Dialect.
Perfect! Nancy is just a great tutor! She really finds the best tips to make you learn smoothly and really takes the time to go over things again if need be and so without ever loosing patience. Thank you so much Nancy!

Nancy tutored me for around 4 months in the lead up to my first year exams at university. Nancy was able to very clearly explain Arabic grammar to me - she was patient, using different methods until I could master it! Highly recommend
