I like to understand what my students objectives are and tailor their teaching to their learning objectives. I also want them to have fun whilst cooking and create some fabulous and tasty meals.
I will provide a range of different options to learn each lesson and teach each step, and give valuable advice for each recipe. I ensure that students have the skills needed to enjoy cooking and menu planning, either for entertaining or in everyday life.
I have worked in a variety of kitchens from Michelin/Rosette to modernist cuisine. I am patient and able to communicate various skills to eager and willing cooks no matter what their experience.
I am able to cater for all dietary requirements; gluten free, dairy free and vegan cooking skills, and show you innovative and clever ways to tailor your favourite dishes.
I also have developed a seven week programme for anyone new to cooking, to learn the basics and understand basic skills to create healthy, tasty meals. This is suitable for teenagers and young adults going off to university, so that they can create healthy and delicious meals during their time away from home.
I base my rate on tailoring the lessons and purchasing ingredients. I will always tailor my programme to suit individual needs. The student will receive and email explaining the overview of the lesson, and will then after the lesson I will follow up with a detailed email including everything we have covered, as well as other recipes.
A programme designed for anyone wanting to learn healthy, achievable and affordable meals, in an informative and enjoyable way.
Each week will include a theme to focus upon, which can be transferred into a range of different dishes. The student will choose the dish they would like to create and we will develop their skills making that particular recipe, but they will have access to multiple recipes that have been tried and tested that follow the same principles.
The course is suitable for anyone looking to leave home to go off travelling or to university, or in general wants to learn to cook healthy meals at home for general everyday cooking. Lessons will conducted in your own home, and all dietary requirements will be accounted for. I will bring the necessary ingredients to you, and supply you with a list of basic tools necessary to create all of my dishes.
