Professional Summary
Indira Grier’s professional life spans two disciplines - music and literature. A cellist from the age of four, Indira has won numerous international prizes and performs as soloist and chamber-musician at venues such as the Wigmore Hall, London. She has studied at the Royal Academy of Music, London, Musikhochschule Lubeck, Germany, and Royal College of Music, London where she holds a Masters in Performance with Distinction. Indira also holds a BA in English Literature from UCL. Alongside her solo performing career, Indira has been successfully tutoring GCSE and A level English Literature, as well as teaching the cello to conservatoire standard.

Teaching Experience:
Indira has substantial tutoring experience, teaching A level and GCSE English. She works for private tutoring agencies such as Griffin and Bell, and Kensington and Chelsea Tutors. She also volunteers with the charity RefuNet, teaching English Literature to refugees. She teaches the cello to conservatoire standard, so she is experienced at working with young people in a one-to-one setting and addressing individual needs.
