As a teacher I respond directly to an individuals learning style and targets, creating personalised curriculums to best support them. I select and tailor resources, homework and assessment which compliment the student and help them improve in key areas. My personality is approachable and engaging, with an ability to passionately bring content to life and create a relaxed, interactive learning environment.
I have been teaching EFL for several years in language schools abroad and in the UK, as well as in one-to-one settings. Additionally, I tutor English from KS1 to GCSE/ IGCSE level, assisting in preparation for exams or general/ specific subject improvement. My students have consistently been able to improve their subject and exam confidence, thereby achieving or exceeding their targets.

Samuel is a friendly tutor and engages well with children. He is happy to adjust the teaching according to the student. He is always happy to discuss the progress of work and plan a way forward to support and improve on any weaknesses or gaps in the subject. His knowledge of the English subject is outstanding and he is well prepared for the lessons.
Samuel is an excellent tutor not only for his knowledge and commitment to the individual but also for his ability to relate and communicate with the younger generation. He has successfully prepped both my sons for entrance exams, I cannot recommend him highly enough and remain ever grateful.
Samuel worked seriously and responsibly, attended classes on time, and prepared enough lessons. My son passed the Common Entrance Exam successfully and entered Westster School with excellent results.
