My name is Lloyd. I have been a teacher for 30 years, both working with large companies, universities and government departments in countries such as; Italy, Germany and Viet Nam. I have particular experience with teaching Academic IELTS in South East Asia to students who intend studying or immigrating to English Speaking Countries and, today, also the new 'Life Skills' A1 and B1 exams.
All my students receive a 'tailor-made' syllabus designed around the precise needs of the clients, be it for business or Exam preparation.
I have been teaching Business English in Europe and The Far East since 1988 with clients such as Nestle, Metro and L'Oreal. In these 30 years I have taught thousands of students and today as CEOs they are sending their employees and even their kids to me!
In 2008 I started to work with the British Council in Viet Nam developing and teaching IELTS content and have attained 'Gold Partnership' and an average Bandscore of just over 7.
My USP (Unique Selling Point) is a fast-moving, fun approach. No dull droning or static lessons!

Whilst on a business trip on behalf of my client, METRO AG of Germany, to review their training programmes and Staff Linguistic Abilities, I fell in love with Viet Nam and with a recent divorce behind me, decided to stay and form a new company specializing in ESP courses for large companies. I continued to work with METRO as well as other ‘Blue Chip’ companies such as VNG, L’Oreal and Nestle.
I also advised Viet Uc Language Centres (Duong 3 Thang 2, Q10 Ho Chi Minh City) on staff training, HR and in particular, exam preparation courses for IELTS. I have continued to teach IELTS with an average bandscore attained of around 7.0. In this capacity I am also a member of the British Council and maintain close relationships as a ‘Gold Partner’.
With a young daughter of school age, I have decided to concentrate on online ESP and in particular Business English as well as following my children’s road to adulthood.

He is a great teacher.. He thoroughly tested my English level and his assessment was greatly accurate. He properly detected the aspects that I needed to improve. He gave me many tips about my IELTS exam. He never interrupted the lesson before finishing the subject, even though the time was over. He was always supportive and encouraging about my progression. I learned from him a lot..
