I am a Mathematics teacher and Sports Tutor who delivers quality lessons to learners at Secondary , A -Level, BTEC and Adult education levels.
I have a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, a PGCE in teaching(Mathematics) , UEFA B licence in football coaching and an FA Affiliate Tutor.
I am able to effectively differentiate and adapt my delivery to suit the individual learner so as to meet their needs.
I am friendly and understanding teacher who put the learner at the centre of all I do
I have been giving lessons since 2010 and in this time I have engaged over 30 learners. Their results, qualifications and achievements are testament to the impact that my teaching had on them.
The feedback from every learner was positive as many achieved better grades than they imagined at GCSE, Advanced and BTEC levels while a few achieved coaching qualifications in Activity leadership and Football coaching.

I have been working on supply teaching Maths and PE since April 2014; this has included regular work at the Albion academy within the Maths department. I have predominantly covered KS3 and KS4 and found that my behaviour management strategies have really helped get the children “on-side” allowing them to progress through my lessons.

Assistant Head of Sports Academy/Sports Lecturer
My previous position as Assistant Head of Football Academy and Sports Lecturer involved planning, preparing and delivering lectures and seminars on the BTEC First & National Sport courses in line with national framework and objectives. Also, as Assistant Head of The Manchester College Football Academy provision, I assisted in the direct line management of the Further Education Sports Coordinator, Community Football Coordinator, Academy Sports Coaches and the Sports Apprentices in order to provide curricular and extra-curricular sports activities to the student body and to actively promote the Sports Department and its achievements within feeder high schools and School Sports Partnerships to aid student achievement, recruit and retention. This involved me working alongside the Head of the Sports Academy in overseeing the delivery of 5 x men’s football teams, 1 x women’s football team and 1 x disability football team in British College Sport Regional and National competitions and ensuring students receive a quality sporting experience. Since my time as Head of Football Academy, the college football teams have achieved team and individual successes including BCS North West Elite League Champions (2011, 2012 & 2013), BCS National Play Off Runners Up (2012), Manchester Schools U19 Champions, 3 x players selected for ECFA U19 National Squad, 6 x players selected for Manchester County FA U18, 5 x players selected for Manchester Schools Squad, 3x players in FC United First Team, 1 x player signed 2 year professional contract at Fleetwood Town, 1 x player signed professional forms at York City and 1 x player signed professional forms at Chesterfield.
