Experienced Mathematics tutor in Brighton, with excellent knowledge of the KS3 and GCSE curriculum. Engineering graduate, commencing secondary school mathematics teacher training this year.
Methodology
I base my lesson plans on the widely recognised, trued and tested approach of concentrating on the key topics; beginning with starter exercises; modelling and explaining the subject matter; completing tasks with the pupil ; setting independent practise questions and scenarios; reviewing and evaluating, considering common misconceptions; then a plenary or activity to finish, often with a short, fun 'brain break' between topics.

I am an engineering graduate, specialising in maths and physics based modules and topics.
Previous careers range from maintenance engineer, carpenter, lorry driver and police officer before completing my university degree to begin teacher training.
Hobbies include triathlon, pool and snooker and playing the drums.
