Experienced Maths and Physics tutor, Bath University Graduate and Engineer at CERN previously

About the lesson

My lessons are always to be steered by the student.

I am patient, sympathetic, passionate, young and engaging. Students look forward to our lessons and often as a result go on to enjoy Maths and Science, which as a whole usually improves their grades significantly. I myself did not always succeed well with my exams growing up, so I can understand students struggles therefore I can help them with these issues.

About MATTHEW

I am a Mechanical & Electrical Engineering graduate from the University of Bath in the UK. I have been teaching in Geneva since working at CERN; the Large Hadron Collider. Over the past 5 years I have tutored a wide variety of international students with excellent results.

I believe it is important to teach students not only the rigorous scientific methods of problem solving, but to teach them how to learn. A main focus is helping with exam preparation and supporting students with their studies to improve their grades. Young, energetic and focus on making learning fun.

My teaching ability includes all the key international curricula, focusing on IGCSE, A Level, the IB Diploma, MYP and Entrance Exams. I also have experience tutoring children with learning difficulties.
