About the lesson

I am an experienced and enthusiastic female MATHEMATICS GRADUATE with a wealth of knowledge and passion for teaching mathematics at all levels.

I am a friendly, patient and methodical tutor who can help students to significantly improve their understanding and abilities in mathematics and by default raise their self confidence and grades.

My approach to tutoring is to perform an assessment of the child or adults current appreciation and then devise a structured approach to further develop their skills, with small, achievable objectives.

I work closely to the new national curriculum, specialising in the following areas:

- Primary (Key Stage 2 | 7+, 11+| SATs)

- Secondary (Key Stage 3, 4 | GCSE)

- Independent School (Entrance Exams)

- Grammar School (Entrance Exams)

- Further Education (GCSE | Functional Skills)

I can tutor online, in your home or we can meet at mutually convenient location, such as a library.

My rate includes initial assessment and report, personalised session planning and I also provide all required resources free of charge.

Marking is done outside of session time and I offer discounts for block bookings.

About Chan

I am a QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCED MATHS TEACHER, ASSESSOR and PRIVATE TUTOR who supports primary school students up to adults.

I studied mathematics and computer science at university and graduated with full honours.

I am the Principle of an academic tuition centre named Clever Clogs Tuition and I also support charities providing one-to-one support to secondary schools, sixth forms and colleges; helping students gain places in one of the top Universities in the country.

I have full DBS disclosure and safeguarding training.
