Methodology
My teaching method focuses on evaluating my students weakest topics and putting the work in with them to make sure they feel confident with that topic. I always keep exam technique at the back of my mind when assigning work, marking and giving helpful tips.
Experience
I am a recent ex A level student studying physics, maths, AS chemistry and English literature. I have been giving private lessons for over 3 years. Over this time I have created and perfected resources and teaching techniques which ensure my students reach their academic potential and achieve the grades they are capable of. Two of my students secured 9s in physics and 8s in maths from 6s and 7s in GCSE and one of my A level students secured a B in her physics mock up from a D. My teaching method focuses on exam technique, particularly in physics and I have exclusive access to A-level and GCSE databases of packs and questions which I give for extra practice. I prioritise I positive learning environment and enjoy helping my students succeed in their goals.

Over the past couple of years, Lucy has been my tutor for both mathematics and physics at GCSE online and in person. She has really helped me improve my understanding of both subjects and has cultivated a love for physics which I have been exploring further at A Level. In 2019 I achieved a 9 in mathematics, after being predicted a 7 and I achieved an 8 in physics after being predicted a 6, thanks to Lucy’s help.
She is really patient, great at explaining things and funny. She ensure that I’ve understood the lesson and that the information has really sunk in, unlike some other tutors I’ve used who just dole out homework. This really made the difference for me!
