I have taught music privately for over ten years and continue to enjoy working with musicians of all levels and abilities. I teach piano, guitar, music theory, & composition. I am postgraduate alumnus of The Royal College of Music in London.
I often work with students preparing for ABRSM or equivalent exams. I live in London and am happy to travel for lessons. Every musician is different and I endeavour to meet the needs and abilities of each and every student I work with!

After completing my Masters at The Royal College of Music, I was Composer-in-Residence at Handel House in central London (2015-17) where I worked extensively with their learning programme & with large groups of young musicians. I have composed music for The London Philharmonic Orchestra and been a recipient of various awards including the Royal Philharmonic Society composition prize.
Hunter's teaching is always dynamic and compelling. He makes students feel at ease and like their individual needs and goals are being considered at every turn. His enthusiasm for music ensures that you're not only learning about your instrument, but about music in a wider sense. I heartily recommend him as a teacher.
Hunter has a thorough knowledge of music and is always well-prepared for his lessons. He is committed to his students, motivating them to achieve their best.
Hunter has been a colleague for four years now. He is reliable, responsible, and extremely experienced as a teacher. He is invested in his pupil's progress and aims not only to make them better technically, but to help them become better musicians, and to develop a greater appreciation for music in general. I couldn't recommend any teacher more highly.
