I am a qualified semi-retired secondary science teacher of eight years experience, who prior to teaching worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge (PhD in Molecular Genetics from University of Cambridge). I am experienced in teaching A'level Biology (AQA), Science GCSE also Science and Maths at KS3. I always try to teach from first principles (where necessary) to achieve a deeper understanding of the subject, which can then be built on. I also have extensive experience working with SEND students, helping them overcome any problems that they may encounter and building upon their confidence in the subject.
