I teach primary school for a living and base my teaching around their needs. My teaching method is very visual, and is based creatively around humour and understanding. I find that this allows children to engage more with their learning, enabling them to better understand concepts and approach areas from a different view-point.
I am a Primary school teacher with 5 years worth of experience. I love teaching and have taught in a classroom to over 150 pupils. This has helped me to gain an insight into the ways in which a plethora of different children learn. In terms of tutoring, I have taught a number of children in the last 2 years, helping them to achieve great marks in their 11+ preparation tests as well as Years 2/6 SATs.

Being a Classroom teacher has enabled me to progress as an efficient professional and afforded me the organisational capacity required to deal with such a fast-paced environment. Due to the highly challenging nature this role demands, I am expected to juggle many roles and responsibilities daily. In turn, this has made me increasingly flexible and has instilled within me a high amount of patience to deal with any enquiries. I hold many roles within the school, namely, organising Sports Days and any extra-curricular activities that take place.

Recognising the gap in children’s skills and development and filling that gap using creative techniques. Understanding that a child's learning can be enhanced with one to one learning filling key gaps in the child's knowledge.
