About the lesson

My teaching method involves the ability to plan/develop individual programs based on the studentʼs needs and goals using creative strategies.

My lesson includes: warm-up techniques; ear-training; improvisation techniques; jazz/ pop/ rock / soul repertoire.

I can also teach: arrangement/composition, music theory, transcription and harmony.

I am a very friendly, responsible and positive tutor.

All levels and ages are welcome.

About Roberta

I am an experienced singer and an enthusiastic teacher. I graduated at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff with a postgraduate degree in MA Jazz (Jazz Singing). Before that, I graduated from Conservatorio di Musica Tito Schipa in Italy with a First class honours Bachelor's degree in Jazz Singing.

I was taught by Tina May, Nia Lynn, Brigitte Beraha, Susanna Stivali, Gaetano Riccobono, among others.
During my academic years, I stood out for my reliability, dedication, efficiency and teamwork skills.

Music has always been my passion in life and I have been a professional musician most of my life. My performance experience, in large and small ensembles, includes a number of performances featured in the RWCMDʼs Amser Jazz Time series as well as numerous Jazz concerts in Italy. Currently I'm bandleader, singer, synth player, composer and arranger in the band Lunar Bird. I also work as a session vocalist.

 My international academic path as well as my +15 years experience as a singer provided me with plenty of opportunities to develop as professional performer and tutor.
